Selenium is a natural antioxidant which delays the oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids and preserves the elasticity of tissue. Selenium is required for the production of certain prostaglandins which decrease platelet aggregation. In synergy with vitamin E, selenium promotes normal growth and fertility, and improves the function of certain energy producing cells. Both selenium and vitamin E independently stimulate the formation of anti-bodies, proteins that act as the body’s defense system.
Each VCapsule Contains
selenium (citrate) 200 mcg.
(hypo-allergenic plant fiber added to complete capsule volume requirement.)
Suggested Dosage:
1-2 vegetarian capsules per day, in divided doses, with meals.
